QQI CINNTE Review of Private/Independent HEIs Commences

As part of an extended CINNTE review cycle in 2024, QQI is progressing with external quality review of four of the largest independent/private higher education institutions. These have been prioritised on the basis that their QA procedures have been approved for some time, they are integrated into QQI’s monitoring framework, and they have indicated their intention to seek the delegation of authority (DA) to make awards when this regulatory framework becomes available.

Dublin Business School (DBS) is the first to undergo external QA review with a site visit by an external review team taking place from 24 – 27 June 2024. The review team will meet with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. 

In preparation for the review, DBS has produced an institutional self-evaluation report (ISER) and institutional profile (IP). These documents and all information related to the review are published on QQI’s reviews library.
