QQI and NARIC Ireland Survey on International Qualifications Recognition

NARIC Ireland, operated by QQI, offers guidance on evaluating foreign qualifications by comparing them, wherever possible, to a significant award type and level on the Irish National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). 

The service provides ‘comparability statements’ on school and tertiary qualifications from countries around the world. You can access comparability statements for each qualification on the NARIC Ireland database available on this page. These statements are categorised by country for easy searchability. 

Additionally, NARIC Ireland provides a limited number of country education profiles (CEPs) and 'rough guides' that offer extra details on the education and training system in specific countries. 

We are currently updating and expanding our CEPs to better meet the needs of our stakeholders and are issuing invitations by email to complete a short survey to identify those countries and qualifications for which additional information would be valuable to you and your organisation. This survey will assist NARIC Ireland in identifying the primary countries of interest to stakeholders for CEP development and ensuring that the resulting profiles meet your needs. The survey is anonymous and should take no more than five minutes to complete. Your participation is highly valued.
