New ETINED publication references NAIN principles and lexicon
Earlier this month, ETINED, the Council of Europe Platform on Ethics, Transparency and Integrity in Education, published its Glossary of Terms related to Ethics and Integrity in Education.
Developed by ETINED on the basis of Recommendation CM/Rec(2022)18on countering education fraud, this new glossary features 135 definitions clarifying 76 key terms and is intended to serve as a strong basis for fostering comprehension and harmonising terms on ethics and integrity across member states.
Drawing from various Council of Europe Recommendations, it considers different interpretations of essential concepts like ethics, transparency, and integrity in various educational contexts, highlights their implications, and provides clear explanations to support informed discussions and actions.
The new publication also includes a number of references to the National Principles and Lexicon of Common Terms, evidencing the reach and impact of the work of the National Academic Integrity Network, proudly supported by QQI.
You can find this publication on the Council of Europe website here.
