European Education and Innovation Summit held in Brussels

Education is central for developing, disseminating and valorising knowledge and innovation, for building innovative pedagogies, as well as nurturing talents.

The first European Education and Innovation Summit took place on June 23 aimed at bringing European education and innovation communities closer together in order to realise the full potential of this area.

The summit attracted a wide audience from Member States, national higher education systems and the European Commission to advance the implementation of the European strategy for universities and setting the ground for the upcoming New European Innovation Agenda. The outcomes of the summit will feed into EU policies and programme development.
