Level 6 Firefighting Operations Standards now open for Consultation

QQI set up a Standards Review Group in 2016 to develop the vocationally specific standards for Firefighting Operations. The group, comprising statutory and regulatory education and training providers, have developed the following draft standards for consultation:
• Level 6 Specific Purpose Certificate in Firefighting Operations
• Level 6 Component Certificate Firefighting Skills
• Level 6 Component Certificate Using Breathing Apparatus
• Level 6 Component Certificate Transportation Incidents
• Level 6 Component Certificate Hazardous Materials
• Level 6 Component Certificate Fire Service Pump Operation
