Extension of deactivation date for Multimedia and IT Awards standards
In response to a request from ETBI QQI has extended the deactivation date on the following awards standards to June 2016.

The extension in relation to the IT awards CNSSX Networks and Software Systems and CCNTX Computer Network Technology is to facilitate learners currently enrolled on programmes at Level 5 to complete the follow on Level 6 awards.
The extension to the deactivation date, by six months to June 2016, for the Electronic Technology and Multimedia awards is to facilitate the development and publication of new awards standards in these areas and to allow for programme development.
Minor awards named in the certificate requirements of these majors have also been extended to June 2016.
