Academic Integrity Peer-learning Session for the ETB Sector
QQI will hold a peer-learning session on academic integrity for the ETBs on Wednesday, 22 February. During this session, participants will discuss a variety of risks to learners and to qualifications posed by various forms of academic misconduct, with a particular focus on contract cheating. QQI will outline the relevant Irish legislation regarding the facilitation and promotion of academic cheating and its own role in promoting and ensuring academic integrity as regulator and awarding body. QQI will provide practical advice on how ETBs can promote and maintain academic integrity within their provision. Participants will be invited to explore the links between academic integrity and assessment; consider how policies and procedures can reflect academic integrity requirements; and will also discuss a number of scenarios relating to academic integrity in FET.
This is a closed event for invited representatives of the ETB sector.
